One of Nubank’s pillars is assembling strong and diverse teams. We know that representation in the technology field is still a challenge, and we are committed to change this reality.
Starting today, May 9th, applications for the second edition of We Code are open, and this hiring program is directed at Black people who work in the software engineering field.
Since 2018, we have carried out events for the inclusion of underrepresented groups in the field, such as Yes, She Codes and We Code itself, having its first edition in 2021.
Find out who can apply for the program and how the selection process will work:
Who can apply for the second edition of We Code?
We Code is open to Black people with any level of experience in backend software development and who are available to relocate or travel to São Paulo in 2022, in case they are hired.
The recruitment process and Nubank’s integration will be carried out 100% remotely. Following the hybrid work model, the dates for on-site work will be established in a safe way for everyone who works with us and can be adapted following changes in the pandemic and the evolution of vaccination campaigns in the country.
How does We Code work?
We Code is a program focused in hiring Black people to work at Nubank’s software engineering department. Applications are open from May 9th to May 22nd through this link.
Some important aspects about We Code:
- There is no CV analysis carried out to select participants for We Code and it is not necessary to know how to code in any specific programming language.
- All the recruitment program’s tasks can be carried out in whatever programming language you feel more comfortable with among the ones available in the platform
- All applicants will get a programming test, and those who pass will be invited for the next steps of the process starting on June 10th.
